Uns scheint, dass die Wirtschaft vor allem von den Frauen getragen wird, sie arbeiten in Gesch\u00e4ften, auf Marktst\u00e4nden, in den Unterk\u00fcnften. Die M\u00e4nner sind eher als Taxifahrer, Fischer oder am Bau t\u00e4tig. Und sehr viele sind unt\u00e4tig. Der K\u00fcnstler war und ist eine nationale Ikone der Kapverden, seine Musik pr\u00e4gend.
