Wir haben davon in der Zeitung gelesen und machen uns auf den Weg, um die Ver\u00e4nderungen selbst zu sehen. Stattdessen kann der Fluss nun hier an den Sand- und Kiesh\u00e4ngen knabbern, wie er mag. Momentan mag er nicht so recht, denn bedingt durch die lange Trockenheit ist auch hier der Wasserstand recht niedrig. Der Pegel in Burghausen zeigt heute 1,55m. Dennoch ist die Str\u00f6mung noch ganz flott, solange wir den Kiesb\u00e4nken fr\u00fch genug ausweichen und in der Hauptstr\u00f6mung bleiben.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery columns-3 allem rechts auf der \u00f6sterreichischen Seite. Wir n\u00e4hern uns Burghausen und durchfahren den historischen Ort bei heftigem Gegenwind aus Osten. Hohe Mergelfelsw\u00e4nde s\u00e4umen beide Ufer, Dohlen haben hier in luftiger H\u00f6he einige H\u00f6hlen in den Fels gegraben.<br>Schon bald ist der felsige Teil der Strecke durchfahren und wir folgen dem nun eher tr\u00e4ge dahinflie\u00dfenden Fluss eine Weile, bis wir den Bereich des Betriebsgel\u00e4ndes der Wacker Werke hinter uns gelassen haben. An der M\u00fcndung des Alzkanals booten wir aus, hier haben wir heute fr\u00fch bereits unsere Fahrr\u00e4der abgestellt. Nun hei\u00dft es nochmal eifrig strampeln, wir m\u00fcssen die rund 26 km wieder stromaufw\u00e4rts durch die Salzach &#8211; Auen zu unserem Auto zur\u00fcck radeln. Mit einem kleinen Imbiss in der Altstadt schaffen wir das auch ganz flott. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery columns-3 is-cropped wp-block-gallery-3 is-layout-flex
